Indian Railways: Job Openings at RITES for Engineers, Salary Upto Rs 5.5 Lakh/Year

Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) is inviting applications for engineering professionals on a contract basis.

There are four job openings for the posts of site engineer (electrical), site engineer (S&T), planning engineer, and safety engineer.

Who can apply?

Only candidates below the age of 55 years can apply for the post. The candidates must have at least five years of work experience in the field of application.

The requirements for the posts are as follows:

1. For site engineer (electrical): The candidates should have a full-time bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, power supply, instrumentation and control, industrial electronics, electronics and instrumentation, applied electronics, digital electronics, power electronics engineering, or any of the above combinations.

2. For site engineer (S&T): The candidates should have a full-time bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, power supply, instrumentation and control, industrial electronics, electronics and instrumentation, applied electronics, digital electronics, power electronics engineering, electronics, electronics and telecommunication, electronics and communication, electronics and electrical, electronics and instrumentation engineering, computer science, IT, computer engineering, or any of the above combination.

3. For planning engineer: The candidate must have a full-time bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

4. For safety engineer: The candidates should have a full-time bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering and a diploma/degree in industrial safety; BE or B Tech in safety; master’s degree in environmental engineering sciences; or international qualifications like CSP (Certified safety professional), NEBOSH Diploma Grad IOSH, CMIOSH.

Things to note:

1. The shortlisted candidates will be posted initially at the client’s site in Raipur and will be liable for posting at any place in India as per the company’s requirements.

2. The tenure is extendable on a contract basis based on the candidates’ performance. 

3. The selected candidates will be paid a yearly salary of Rs 5.57 lakh.
