Not having a number plate or having one that is defective or fancy is an offence as per the rules of Delhi Traffic Police. And a Delhi Police constable did something really smart to ensure that the rule is followed throughout the city.
When he spotted a man from Haryana driving with the logo of Indian National Lok Dal party on the number plate, the constable stopped him to inform that this is a violation of traffic rules. But according to reports, the driver chose to abuse the cop instead of trying to understand his point. What the cop did next forced the man to apologise for his actions in the end. He started recording the entire conversation, saying that the video will go up on the Delhi Police website.
“You cannot threaten a police officer. You have not read the rules and regulation board we have put up. This is not Haryana. In Delhi, netagiri won’t work,” he is heard saying in the video.
Watch how the cop stood firm in the face of someone who was exploiting his position and power for breaking the law.
