People said he will be very weak when compared to other sportspersons since he had lost a hand due to an electric shock. He needed two bottles of blood to keep him alive. Even he thought this might be the end of everything. How can he live a regular life without a hand? He was angry and didn’t know what to do.
But this man is no ordinary person. He channeled all his energies towards sports and is now known as the long jumper and Arjuna Award winner, Jagseer Singh.
“When we see other athletes, I feel I can also become like them and perform like them if not better. I have competed with able athletes and even won,” says Indian Powerlifter, Farman Basha.
“If you are strong and can do well, nobody can stop you.” – Naresh Kumar Sharma, 10m Air Rifle Shooter.
