Watch: A Delhi Cop Helped a Driver Despite Heavy Rains, Restoring Everyone’s Faith in Humanity

While it was pouring in the city recently, the cop continued to perform his duty and even went out of the way to help a car that had broken down in the middle of the road.

Nobody likes to work on a rainy day. Especially not in Delhi – the traffic slows down, it’s all sticky and humid, and public transport gets inefficient!

Plus, wouldn’t you want to ‘rain check’ your plans and just sit at home, look out the window and enjoy the day?

For a Delhi traffic cop, that would’ve been a luxury.

While it was pouring in the city recently, the cop continued to perform his duty and even went out of the way to help a car that had broken down in the middle of the road.

Captured in a video shared by Mankan Bammi on Facebook, who was stuck in the traffic himself, the cop is seen easing out the traffic mess while getting drenched in the busy lanes of Paschim Vihar.

As other drivers chose to turn a blind eye, the cop singlehandedly pushed the car away from the busy road.

One of the most underappreciated workforces in the country, traffic cops often bear the brunt for not enacting their duties, despite spending several hours steering traffic on the roads, battling the harsh sun and rain.
