Milind Soman, actor, supermodel and ex-national level swimming champ has yet another feather in his hat as he just finished the extremely difficult Ironman triathlon in Zurich, Switzerland.

As if Milind Soman’s numerous achievements weren’t cool enough, he has gone an extra mile and completed the extremely difficult Ironman triathlon in Zurich, Switzerland. The Ironman triathlon is a series of extreme athletic events including a 3.86 km swim, a 180.25 km cycle race and a 42.2 km run. All of these in just one day.

Soman completed the triathlon in remarkable 15 hours 19 minutes and 29 seconds on July 19.

“It was a great experience. The city and route are beautiful, for me the challenge was to complete the cycling segment in less than 8 hrs since it’s a new activity for me and there was a cutoff time to adhere to,” he told The Better India.

Even after hours of extensive physical activity, he still looked nothing less than fabulous.

Just look at him! Does he look like a 50 year old coming after an extensive round of swimming? Hell No!

Soman, who is mostly known for his successful stint as a super model, was the national swimming champion before he chose to hit the ramp and be part of the glamour world. He is one of the seven Indians who participated in Ironman this year.

“The swim in Lake Zurich was great and the 42km run is something that I have been doing for years. The main thing is if you are sufficiently aware and monitor your body’s response at every stage in terms of nutrition and pace, it will all come together. I wanted to gift myself something special in my 50th year and I am glad I could do this,” Soman said.

He has been practising for this event for past few months and had been updating his social media each day.

And as the news broke about him finishing the triathlon, the social media found yet another reason to love their “captain Vyom”

Check out some of his amazing pics from the triathlon and his practice sessions-
