The story of the trainee cops and a hawker is warming the hearts of netizens everywhere.
It’s a story that is sure to warm anyone’s heart. A street hawker from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh was left devastated when his bicycle was stolen. Even while efforts were made to find it, it couldn’t be located.
And then, trainee cops from Dr B R Ambedkar Police Academy found out about it and decided to help him out.
They all got together and raised money to buy him a brand new bicycle. The group even got together for a little celebration, and of course, some joyful selfies.
The pictures were tweeted out by Rahul Srivastav, the public relations officer for the director general of police in UP and the pictures quickly went viral with hundreds of retweets.
