Earlier this month, the Minister had dedicated the year 2016 as the ‘Year of the Consumers’ and in keeping with this objective, the initiative will go a long way to provide comfort and convenience to the LPG consumers, said a release.
Consumers can now refill their LPG cylinders at any time and get them delivered without having to worry about keeping the exact change ready.
“This facility would bring great relief to working couples as well as to senior citizens as they can make the payment online without bothering to keep adequate cash at home,” said an official from HPCL.
The Minister said that this move will ensure consumer convenience, transparency, and cashless transactions.
Consumers can avail the service through web portal www.mylpg.in, which is available in 13 languages. Customers can carry out all LPG-related activities like booking, tracking, receipt of subsidy details etc. through the website.
