DRDO Announces Job Openings For Research Posts, Salary Up to Rs 67000/Month

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) in Pune and Visakhapatnam.

There are 12 open positions for JRF and one opening for an RA in Pune, and seven openings for JRF in Visakhapatnam.

Who can apply?

1. Applicants must not be more than 28 years of age.

2. The appointment of applicants is for a period of two years and may be extendable as per the rules.

3. For the position of JRF, candidates must have a BE, BTech in electronics/ electronics and communication/ applied electronics/ signal processing/ microwave/ microelectronics/ microwave engineering/ power electronics/ electronics and instrumentation/ instrumentation and controls and similar disciplines.

4. Candidates should have secured a first division with NET/GATE qualification. Alternatively, candidates can have an MSc, ME or MTech in the above-mentioned disciplines.

4. Candidates can also possess a bachelor’s or master’s in different disciplines, such as aeronautical engineering and computer sciences.

5. For the post of RA, the candidates must have done PhD (electronics engineering) or ME/ MTech with a minimum of three years of R&D experience in a reputed institution.

6. Candidates who have submitted their PhD theses may also apply for the post of RA.

1. Interested candidates can fill out the application form in the prescribed format and send it to The Director, Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE), Armament Post, Pashan, PUNE- 411 021.

2. Shortlisted candidates will be called out for an interview before they are awarded the job.

3. The interview test will be conducted on 1 December, 2023, in Pune.

4. For the post of JRF in Visakhapatnam, there will be a walk-in-interview held at NSTL, Visakhapatnam, on 21 November and 23 December, 2023, as per the official document.

4. Selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs 37,000 for Junior Research Fellow and Rs 67,000 for the post of Research Associate.
