Video: Caught on CCTV, Mommy Doggo Fights Off Leopard To Save Her Puppy!

A mother’s instincts are strong, regardless of whether she is human. When her child is faced with danger, she leaves no stone unturned to shield it, even if it demands risking her own life.
In one such instance, a daring dog in Himachal Pradesh snatched her puppy from the literal jaws of death of a leopard.
The Independent reported that the chilling sequence was captured on CCTV at an Indian Forest Service office.
Although it’s late at night, you can see a puppy on the porch of the office, clueless to the lurking leopard who has strayed from the forest in the vicinity. You are thrown off balance as the predator pounces onto the helpless puppy. But before it can grab its prey and disappear to devour it, the mother leaps into rescue, bravely fighting off the leopard.

Mrityunjay Madhav, Divisional Forest Officer, told The Independent, “The dog and its puppy was sitting in front of the office door when the leopard attacked the puppy all of a sudden. The dog chased the leopard in a bid to save its baby from its grip.”
He also added that the dog appeared to have injured the leopard during the fight because there were reports of spotting an injured leopard in the area later.
