He spends his days and nights at a railway station, lives a life of poverty and hunger without any source of income or help. But he makes sure that the stray dogs around him are fed properly every day. He sacrifices his food for these animals and this has been his life for 30 years now. 60-year old Kamala Lochan Baliarsingh lives in acute poverty and hunger near the Bhubaneshwar railway station. In spite of this, he makes sure that he feeds the stray dogs around him every single day. And he has done this for over three decades now!

Only a man who has experienced hunger can be so compassionate towards the need of another hungry being, be it human or animal. He doesn’t earn anything and doesn’t take charity. Can an act of kindness be as selfless as this?

This inspiring man’s story filled our heart with respect, love and admiration, and we just had to share it with you.
