Raipur Police Officers Celebrated an 11-YO Visually Impaired Girl’s Birthday Just the Way She Wanted

It is a cherished childhood dream of many to wear one of those starched khaki uniforms and experience what it feels like to be a police officer. Sania Sahu, an 11-year-old visually impaired child, also held a similar wish close to her heart.

And it was fulfilled on her eleventh birthday, thanks to the Raipur police department. Police officers got her a uniform and also took her for a ride in a police vehicle.

According to a Facebook post by Raipur police, it had been Sania’s dream to wear the uniform of a police officer but her father couldn’t buy a uniform costume because he failed to acquire the required documents and permissions. Sania is battling a serious disease and both her kidneys have stopped functioning. The police officers decided to fulfil her birthday wish and they not only got her a police uniform but also picked her up from her residence in Chhattisgarh in a police vehicle. Her birthday was celebrated at the office of the Inspector General Pradeep Gupta, where she cut her birthday cake.

Kudos to the compassionate hearts hidden behind the strict demeanours of police officers!
