An organization called ‘Save the Children’ succeeded in convincing Delhi-based fashion designers against employing children under the age of 14 years. A designer, Narresh, admitted, “We should have norms that make it mandatory for designers, manufacturers and sub-contractors to ensure that no child is employed.”
