The school has received a new lease of life, with a new toilet, and freshly painted benches and classrooms.

It was Nidhi’s domestic help’s son, who told her about the school’s poor condition. Nidhi decided to do something and roped in her siblings for the cause.

Their parents did not have any idea about this gesture and only found out when some teachers from the school informed them about it.

Nidhi told the Times of India that it was the concern or lack of facilities for needy students, that moved them to the cause. That is what prompted them to save their pocket money, and donate it for the school’s needs.
