Dhruv Boruah, an entrepreneur, loves sailing and adventure. His passion led him to get involved in Ocean Racing, and while sailing from London to Brazil, and noticed how the waters were full of plastic litter.

Dhruv’s journey has taken him 150 miles, (241 km), from Lechlade, Gloucestershire to Tower Bridge, near London for nine days, and he collected plastic bottles, cups, glasses, tennis balls, beer cans, kitchen towels, flip-flops (chappals), amongst other things.

A former corporate management consultant turned entrepreneur, Dhruv made this bicycle on his own. However, and ran into problems early on, as the vehicle topped over the first day. Braving the rain, he set off and went on his mission.

Boruah is now looking for someone else who would like to get involved. He aims to propagate plastic-awareness and work with the government to take his campaign forward.
