1. India Inclusion Summit – Bangalore

India Inclusion Summit is a community driven initiative that brings together thought leaders from the field of inclusion to deliberate, discuss and take forward diverse talents available in our society. The Summit is an egalitarian platform attracting people from a range of fields.

They aspire to create the world’s largest platform that fosters diversity and inclusion in the society. And, dream to inspire 10 million lives in their journey of inclusion by 2020. It is an inspirational platform that brings awareness and drives inclusion of specially-abled people at Corporates, Schools, Policy making bodies, NGO’s and Parent Associations. This summit has been conceptualized to drive inclusiveness everywhere and it’s a free summit to participate in. Click here to know more details about the event.

Watch Naseeruddin Shah perform a live act at the charity dinner on 28th November, followed by many speakers of repute including Shah, Navin Gulia, Diwakar Sharma, Temple Grandin, Sudha Menon, Bharat Dhabolkar and more at the Summit on 29th.

2. Celebrating Differences – Pune

A Dance Ensemble and the launch of our Book of Short Stories. While many schools are now welcoming inclusive education and catering to children with different needs, Ekansh Trust finds that sensitization is necessary. Their story book seeks to reach out to children who share these inclusive learning spaces and help them bond better and celebrate differences. Check out their event page for more details.

3. Art Abled – Bangalore

As a part of their continued efforts to create a platform for people with disabilities, GiftAbled in association with Cheshire Disability Trust is organising ArtAbled to mark World Disability Day. ArtAbled is a platform for artists with disabilities to showcase their talent and art in the form of paintings, music, dance or products which are made by them for their livelihood. ArtAbled also includes special sessions on Assistive Devices, Corporate Inclusiveness Environment and Interactions with persons with various disabilities. During ArtAbled, the team will also be fulfilling the needs of a few persons with disabilities through their ‘Wall of Hope- Needs not wishes’. Visit their event page for more details.

4. Hyderabad 10k Run – Hyderabad

The Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation is a Not for Profit Organization registered under the Indian Trusts Act. The Hyderabad 10K Foundation has been established with an objective of promoting Health, Fitness and Sports. The Foundation uses its funds for the causes 10 Km Running race Hyderabad Heritage Marathon Go! 5K Women’s Run School Sports & Athletics. Check their events page for more details.
