It took six months and four driving tests for Sonia, a resident of Delhi, to become the experienced private driver that she is today. When Sonia’s in-laws asked her to leave their house because they wanted a daughter-in-law and not a driver, she was determined that she wouldn’t quit – even if she would have to go out of the house and start everything afresh. Today, the confident, unapologetic mother of two has many dreams regarding the future of her children. This is her story.
