Hitting the hammer right at the nail is a restaurant in Mala, Thrissur, which has assembled a unique machine capable of making 800 plates of biryani within an hour, which translates to 6000 plates per day!

Al Ma Ida Restaurant is run by KA Sadiq and P Ali Ashraf where the device has been put to task. The machine doesn’t limit its culinary abilities to just biryani and can make a menu of dishes including beef fry, chicken tikka, chilly chicken, ghee rice and kuzhi manthi, which is an Arabic delicacy, as well!

Also, there is a menu displayed on the monitor attached to the machine from which one can select the type of biryani to be prepared. The machine does not use any oil for frying the meat or any water for boiling eggs, which it can accomplish 500 in 20 minutes!

Interestingly, the biryani maker has been put together using three different contraptions made in Japan, India and Germany.

While the first segment fixes the masala for the dish once the required meat and spice mixture has been added to a tray, the second section, which is made in India washes the rice and adds it to German-make cooking vessel, which finally cooks the rice, meat and masala on the tray in a span of half an hour.

According to owners Sadiq and Ali Ashraf, the machine automatically cleans up once the cooking is done, reports Mathrubhumi, a local daily.

Our prayers have finally found an answer. More biryani for everyone!
