to be able to talk with the sky?”
― Pablo Neruda, The Book of Questions

Ever wondered what would trees have to say if they could speak? SayTrees, a community of nature lovers who are passionate about planting trees around the country, recently tried to show people what trees would say if they could – what posters they would hold up if they decided to go for a silent protest against the situation they are in these days. The Bengaluru-based organization’s mission is to sensitise and empower people to give back to nature and live in an environment conducive to their health and well-being. SayTrees inspires citizens to spare just a few hours on weekends and work towards making their cities, and their lives greener. A few months ago, they asked people to design such posters and help in spreading the unheard voices of trees.
