1. In a worthy initiative, the Aid Without Religion Trust gifted umbrellas and school bags to needy children in Mangalore. The trust aims at promoting scientific temperament and removing superstitious beliefs that prevail in the society.

2. A University that teaches Law bends its own Law?! Not bad, as it is done to admit students who were not admitted previously just because they could not clear Class X or Class XII examination in the first attempt!

3. It is heartening to know that disabled persons will get preference in house allotment in Delhi. There will be one per cent reservation of industrial plots, housing flats & built-up sheds; five per cent in shops & kiosks with immediate effect.
