It was just another day when Sandeepa and Chetan, a couple from Mumbai, decided to “start exploring travel and photography as a way of life”. And they have never looked back since then. By profession, Sandeepa is an Electronics Engineer and Chetan has worked in the field of advertising and design. One of the many reasons why they fell in love with each other was their mutual interest in travel and nature. After their first trip together to Coorg in Karnataka, the couple continued to travel to several offbeat places on holidays and long weekends.

And finally one day, they decided not to wait till they get old. They quit their jobs, sold their house, and started travelling around the world.

“Reactions from family and friends initially ranged from “This is amazing! Go for it!” to “What’s wrong with you? It’s time for you to have kids, not travel!”. But once they saw how serious we were about this and how bad we wanted it, everyone became very supportive – right from suggestions and guidance to emotional and mental support. They have been the backbone of our journey,” they said in an interview to ithaka.

Today, with a great collection of pictures from around the world that were featured in publications like National Geographic, the couple is still on their journey, and they want to visit every possible corner of the world. They have been to eight countries till now.

Here is a quick look into their travel diaries:
