While people stranded in Chennai are helping each other as much as they can, good Samaritans in other parts of the country are also trying to help the city in their own ways. Ram Kashyap, a resident of Bangalore, is one among them, and he is doing something that not many would dare to do.

Ram has decided to shuttle between Bangalore and Chennai to deliver relief supplies for those in need.

He set out for the first trip on December 3 after collecting items like food supplies, containers, paper cups, rain coats, umbrella, etc. For collecting these items from all those who were willing to contribute, Ram wrote a Facebook post informing people about his plan and asking for donations.

He, along with his friends, set up 14 drop-off points in all major parts of Bangalore, so that residents in the nearby areas could contribute easily.
