Recently the Karnataka Postal Circle announced the launch of three new postal services, which shall make deliverance easier and more comfortable for its users.

India Post’s Karnataka Postal Circle is aiming to make deliverance to its customers, easy and quick. Soon they shall be offering three such services across the State which shall keep in mind the comfort of its customers.

CADDS: Cash Delivery at the Doorstep

This service has been appointed, keeping in mind the senior citizens and users of the postal service. Senior citizens, who are also account holders, shall have their cash from their accounts delivered to their doorstep. All they have to do to avail of this service, is call the post office, inform them of their account number and withdrawal amount, and follow up the call with an email. All the calls are liable to be recorded. In order to avail of this service, customers shall have to register with a one-time fee of INR 100. The maximum amount that can be drawn is Rs. 20,000, and the transaction fee shall be Rs. 20.

Turant seva

This service is set to be launched in a fortnight. It shall make payment for 26 different kinds of counter services such as sale of postage stamps, postal stationery, booking of registered, speed post, money orders etc., accessible through debit/ credit cards of any bank. There is ongoing communication regarding this with the State Bank of India.

Pick post

The third service to be launched is “Pick Post”. This service shall enable citizens to request the postal service to have their mail be picked up from their office/home, by sending an email to the post office or calling on the designated telephone number. In such a case, the nearest post office shall be notified for the pickup.

These services are being provided keeping in mind the need for an economic, efficient and productive deliverance.
