1. International Yoga Day Celebration by Prafull Oorja- Bengaluru

Bangalore based charitable trust, Prafull Oorja: Holistic Practices for All, will be hosting an International Yoga Day “Celebrate the Children”.

The shining stars of the event will be the special needs children whom Prafull Oorja shares yoga practices through their uBloom Yoga for Special Needs division. The children performing at the event will demonstrate their yoga abilities through different yoga asanas (postures), and also include stories and songs to accompany the asanas. The event will also feature testimonials from parents and teachers of special needs children speaking on the benefits of a yoga practice to their children. Speeches from dignitaries in the yoga and education fields will also take place.

2. Earth Bazaar – Bengaluru

5. When The Pleats Dance – Delhi

“When The Pleats Dance” an exhibition of Bharatanatyam Dance Costumes
by Sandhya Raman, inspired by (Padmashri) Geeta Chandran. It is a unique exhibition that traces the evolution of Bharatanatyam Dance Costumes over four decades and is based on the personal collection of  Geeta Chandran’s costumes and jewellery  that have been  curated by designer Sandhya Raman.
