‘Love Per Square Foot’ is the first ever Indian film production to be released by Netflix, which will hit the screens on February 14.
Starring Vicky Kaushal and debutante Angira Dhar, the film is a romantic comedy that chronicles the unusual course of action that protagonists, Sanjay Chaturvedi and Karina D’Souza take, just to own a house of their own in Mumbai.
The quirky film is the feature directorial debut of film and stage personality, Anand Tiwari, who was the director of ‘Bang Baaja Baarat,’ a web series by Yash Raj Films and also marks the first solo venture by Ronnie Screwvala under his new independent production house RSVP.
The film is co-produced by Still and Still Pictures, and stars veteran actors like Ratna Pathak, Supriya Pathak, and Raghuvir Yadav in titular roles.
“How, where, and when great stories are watched, is changing every day. Our younger audiences chose their mediums. We love to disrupt and innovate in this space, and this is a first of its kind for South Asia. We are thrilled to come together with Netflix and break new ground by reaching film-lovers around the world directly with Netflix,” said Ronnie Screwvala, reports Pandolin.
