As the city continues to reel under the pressure of the heaviest rains since 2005, the regional Meteorological Centre in Colaba has predicted that the situation may remain the same for next 24 hours, according to the Indian Express.
The Maharashtra government and civic authorities have declared a high alert after 100 mm rain was recorded yesterday and people have been advised to stay home for the next 24 hours.
