The final results for the Civil Service Examination (CSE) have been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Out of the candidates who appeared for the examination, a total of 933 individuals have successfully qualified. Among them, 613 candidates are male, while 320 candidates are female.

For the second year in a row, women candidates secured the top four positions in the examination.

Ishita Kishore, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, has secured the first position (AIR 1) this year, with Garima Lohia and Uma Harathi N claiming the second and third positions respectively.

Ishita Kishore is an economics graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.  She secured the top rank with political science and international relations as her optional subjects.

Garima Lohia, a Delhi University graduate from Bihar, achieved the second position in the examination, having chosen commerce and accountancy as her optional subject.

Uma Harathi N, who secured the third position, hails from Telangana and is a graduate of civil engineering and anthropology.

The fourth and fifth positions were bagged by Smriti Mishra and Mayur Hazarike respectively.
