Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications for two permanent positions — assistant professor (commerce) and postgraduate teacher (English).
There is one vacancy each for a postgraduate teacher — in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, and an assistant professor — under the Andaman and Nicobar Administration
Applicants for the assistant professor role must not be above 38 years of age. They must have a master’s in commerce with at least 55% marks from a recognised university or institute.
The candidate must also have passed the National Eligibility exam (NET) (commerce) administered by the UGC or the CSIR or a comparable exam accredited by the UGC.
The candidates applying for the postgraduate teacher role must not be above 35 years of age and have a master’s in English with 50% marks from a recognised university.
Additionally, they must have a bachelor’s (education) from a recognised university and must have studied Bengali as a subject up to Class 10.
The teacher’s role will include teaching and evaluating answer scripts for higher secondary students at FBPHS School, including invigilation duties.
