The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced two vacancies for the post of Deputy Director General — one each in its Bengaluru and Guwahati regional offices.

The appointment will be on a deputation basis for a fixed term of five years. If the officer is relieved earlier, it will not be less than three years.

The candidate should be below 56 years of age. The officers shall be entitled to a monthly salary between  Rs 1,44,200 and  Rs 2,18,200.

Officers from the Central, State/UT Governments, and public sector undertaking/autonomous organisations holding regular posts with requisite experience can apply for the post.

The candidate should have experience in e-governance, matters relating to budget, contract management, co-ordination, administration, procurement of goods and services, and legal matters.

The last date to submit the application is 28 August 2023.

The candidates will be selected based on viva-voce/personal interaction after being shortlisted on the basis of the eligibility criteria including serving experience, etc.
