1. Wagh Bakri Tea In 1915, Narandas Desai who had set up his tea business in South Africa, returned to India and established the Gujarat Tea Depot in Ahmedabad.

At the time, the tea logo depicted an image of a wagh (tiger) drinking tea with a bakri (goat) in the same cup.  And then in 1934, the Gujarat Tea Depot launched the Wagh Bakri Tea brand, which currently has crossed a turnover of Rs 1,500 crore.

2. Mysore Sandal Soap In 1918, Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV was gifted a rare set of sandalwood oil soaps. He loved them and wanted India to have its own line.
