The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has invited applications for an offline course called Remote Sensing and GIS Applications in Agricultural Water Management.

The programme is for students, researchers, and professionals from central and state governments, ICAR institutes, and those engaged in agriculture, agricultural engineering and water management.

It will cover several domains including remote sensing of field scale crop type mapping (with advance approaches and sensors) and agricultural water management.

The course includes lectures and practical hands-on sessions delivered by distinguished IIRS faculty as well as eminent guest faculties.

Government-sponsored candidates must submit the nomination form from the competent authority of their parent organisation/institute when submitting the application.

The course will be conducted from 21 August 2023 till 1 September 2023. The last date to apply for the course is 30 June 2023.

There are only 20 seats available that have been reserved for Indian participants. The course will cost Rs 12,000.
