We are looking for a Product Manager for our Bangalore office. As a product owner / product manager, you will work with developers, management, customer-care, operations team, suppliers to build the best possible shopping experience on the internet and mobile.

As a Product Manager at The Better India, you will

1. Be the voice of the customer & the seller and the driving force behind product innovation from in-depth product understanding to feature development through experimentation
2. Identify customers behaviours and needs through research and analysis
3. Take full ownership of the product, the prioritisation of new features and enhancements to existing features
4. Empower and collaborate with your team to unlock their full potential
5. Analyse, understand and share learnings from experimentation to build a strong knowledge base of the product
6. Thrive to achieve optimal implementation of changes made to the product

Our ideal colleague will be

1. A professional with 5+ years experience in a product management role with web-based companies preferably high usage sites like e-commerce
2. A user focused individual who keeps the customer at the heart of everything we do, while having strong commercial awareness
3. Data driven, basing decisions on facts rather than opinions
4. Experienced in web analytics software such as Google analytics/Mix Panel
5. Familiar with A/B testing or other multivariate testing
6. A go-getter who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and dives into a project to achieve success by problem solving
7. Eager to learn and aware that valuable information can come from both positive and negative results through experimentation
8. Passionate about product development and constantly looking for ways to improve it
9. An open minded team player with excellent communication skills
10. Agile and innovative with the tenacity to thrive in a constantly changing environment
11. Self-motivated and results driven with a take charge attitude to manage the full development cycle of a product
12. Friendly, knowledgeable, and motivational to others
13. Knowledgeable in conversion optimisation, digital marketing, UX design and/or consumer psychology and research
