We are seeking a motivated and target driven individual to join our team as a Partnerships Manager. With exceptional communication skills and the ability to face and engage clients on an ongoing basis, the Partnerships Manager will be a crucial member of The Better India’s team in Mumbai.

As a Partnerships Manager at the The Better India you will

1. Understand partner requirements and identify the cross section between rich content, corporate communication and social impact
2. Create campaign proposals, presentations, cost sheets and any documentation required to onboard clients in a commercial partnership
3. Identify situations where media can be used as an agent for social change and foster the right partnerships to support such campaigns
4. Identify and reach out to relevant corporate partners for new opportunities
5. Develop quarter-wise plans which are measurable and can be presented to support revenue projections
6. Achieve growth and meeting revenue projections
7. Work with cross functional teams including marketing, operations, and The Better India’s editorial team to develop proposals/pitches for new opportunities
8. Build sectoral knowledge on corporate communication strategies and branded content
9. Build long lasting partnerships with existing clients and work closely with the delivery team on client needs

Our ideal colleague will be

1. An individual with 3-5 years of experience in B2B Sales/Consulting/Businesses Development
2. Someone with strong communication skills with an ability to present information in an insightful
and structured manner, both written and oral
3. Able to approach sales in a consultative way and create social value simultaneously
4. An expert in building and maneuvering proposals to meet partner requirements
5. Preferably having an understanding of corporate and CSR communication, building brand perceptions and creation of branded content
6. Ideally having an understanding of the development sector; with an inclination to build a bridge between business and impact
7. Experienced in creative media sales
