This is a marketplace that connects enterprises making great products with consumers seeking better alternatives in their purchases. And yes, every purchase makes an impact.

We consider the sellers on TBI store as our partners. Our partners will be small enterprises, NGOs, even artisans and rural innovators. We will need to do a lot of legwork to bring this unorganized sector on- board to sell online. They will need assistance on different issues, and we will be there to help resolve them, creating the right linkages and environment for them to scale up and grow on TBI e-commerce.

As a Director - Partner Development Program at the The Better India you will

1. Manage partner development team, create goals, standards, and accountability measurements.
2. Create and maintain necessary reports to track progress and partnership retention
3. Conceptualize and develop new programs to deepen partner relationships
4. Manage appropriate distribution of partners for team members
5. Oversee and approve agreement negotiations
6. Travel to different parts of the country including remote and rural areas to visit partners, as and when needed
7. Identify small enterprises/non-profit organizations/independent artisans from diverse backgrounds
8. Conceptualize and implement an enterprise engagement model for identified artisans
9. Build program proposals with clear objectives and strategic road maps
10. Plan and execute capacity building measures for enterprise partners
11. Design an efficient feedback and problem-solving mechanism to capture vendor pain points and conceptualise and implement efficient and sustainable solutions
12. Provide design inputs to help enterprise partners reinvent their offerings for evolving tastes
13. Collect and disseminate information that would enable partners to sell more efficiently on our platform
14. Enable partnerships, linkages, L&D modules, workshops, activities - anything needed to empower partners with the tools and resources to come onboard and scale up

Our ideal colleague will be

1. A Leader with 12+ years’ experience in managing a team of partner development program managers who work with enterprises/individuals from the unorganized sector
2. Work experience in rural India, or with partners in rural and remote parts of India
3. A strong inclination to make a difference
4. Extremely proactive and ready to take initiative and run with new ideas 
5. An exceptional communicator with superlative written and oral communications skills, creativity, attention to detail and coordination skills
6. Multi-lingual, speaking at least 4 Indian languages
7. Training/education in the development sector will be an added plus
