It is a marketplace that connects producers who make sustainable products with consumers seeking better lifestyle alternatives. Sellers on our platform are skilled artisans and farmers from marginalized communities, and innovators across the country. It is a platform where every purchase triggers a change for the better. We are leveraging E-commerce to enhance the quality of lives for both - the consumers with better alternatives; and the sellers with access to a larger market.
We are looking for a copywriter for The Better India Shop. As a copywriter you will work on conceptualizing and developing engaging copy for the audience across multiple social channels and on-platform content. At The Better India, we’ll need you to go beyond words - channeling them to create a personified brand voice. If you think you are witty, creative and can declutter communication, this is the role for you.
As a Copywriter at The Better India, you will
- Be an ideator at heart.
- Work with the brand identity to create engaging content spread across platforms & niches.
- Understand the brand voice and translate it into copy for posters, social media posts, product descriptions, infographics , headlines, ad copies, and scripts for videos. etc
- Collaborate with the digital & design team to conceptualize campaign ideas and
translate them into crisp and clutter-free copies.
- Be the voice of the brand on all social media and ensure expression of a consistent brand persona across all platforms.
6. Ensure that all the copy produced is true to the brand design and web analytics friendly.
Our ideal colleague will be
- A professional with a 2 to 3 year experience in copy development
- Experienced in writing copy for digital platforms- Social Media, Advertising, Blog, Website etc and familiar with various forms of content.
- A brand ambassador capable of understanding branding requirements and creating relevant content.
- Willing to work with tight deadlines.
- Internet and social media savvy, aware of the latest platforms and trends
- Extremely proactive and ready to take initiative and run with new ideas
- Excellent in writing and editing in English.
- A well-read story-teller with a sense of humor.
