The online initiative driven by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India has gone viral for the best reasons!
Bollywood stalwart Amitabh Bachchan has promised to distribute his monetary assets equally between his son, Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Nanda after his demise because he believes that men and women in all respects are #Equal and one shouldn’t discriminate between a daughter and a son.
Big B joins a number of celebrities as well as the general public in taking to Twitter to pledge his allegiance to equality, only days before International Women’s Day. The online initiative called #WeAreEqual is being driven by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, to promote gender equality.
