Eti Agarwal, the 24-year-old who topped the CA final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), is probably not surprised with her results. After all, she’s used to topping exams at a national level.
Having scored 599 marks out of 800 (74.88%), Eti reacted to her results by saying that she is overwhelmed by the support of her well-wishers. Speaking to Hindustan Times she said, “Ever since the results were announced, my cell phone has been buzzing with calls from friends and relatives. It is so heartening to score the number one position in the exam.”
Here’s everything you need to know about the young woman’s accomplishments:

1) This is not the first or even the second time when she has topped in an exam. In 2011, she topped the Class 12 ISC exam with a score of 98.75%. She also managed to get 100% in Commerce and Math.
2) She was also the all-India topper in the second level of the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course in November 2013.
3) She was the all-India topper in the executive level exam of Company Secretary in June 2015.
4) The Bharatnatyam dancer, who went to the prestigious La Martiniere Girls College in Lucknow, qualified with distinction for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT), which is the entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course, in June 2011.
But this is just the beginning for Eti. She has also taken the CS finals by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is expecting results by February.
Eti says that the reason she has seen success with examinations is because she has learned to be methodical and organised when it comes to preparation. And while her accomplishments in the field of Chartered Accountancy are awe-inspiring, she wants to serve the country and will be preparing for Indian Civil Services examination too.
We are sure that it will lead to an added feather in her decorated cap.
