Watch How a Street Cleaner Gave Indians an Unforgettable Lesson in Cleanliness in This Viral Video

A sweet short film called Khat Aaya Hai (mail has arrived), promotes the importance of keeping the country clean and the responsibility that we as citizens have towards achieving that goal.

India has personally sent a letter to you and it’s a message that you can’t afford to miss. A sweet short film called Khat Aaya Hai (mail has arrived), promotes the importance of keeping the country clean and the responsibility that we as citizens have towards achieving that goal.

A creation of Aghaaz Productions, the film tells the story of a street sweeper who watches people around him constantly littering. But he doesn’t get angry. He teams up with his friend (a postman who begins the film being cynical) and sends letters to people on behalf of the nation (Bharat), entreating them to keep India clean.

The video ends with the postman making one final stop with a letter for the audience.

In a message to the public, the filmmakers have written that it is up to each and every single one of us to keep India clean. They write, “The nation can progress only when crores of people all together step towards small changes. But the only regret of the nation is that there are very few ideal and responsible citizens. This is what our film tries to express.”
