According to the article, an air filter can be made using a HEPA (High-efficiency particulate arrestance) filter and a fan. These filters are used to separate fine particulate matter from the air, which is about 25 times finer than a human hair and is considered to be one of the most hazardous pollutants. The thing to be kept in mind while buying a fan is that it needs to have a flat front because the filter is later strapped to it.
