Several cities in India are choking with the large amounts of dangerous gasses released. With an invention like this, that harnesses these pollutants, this might just be the breakthrough we’re looking for.
The company is soon to launch range of products such as pens, spray paints and oil paints that are made from pigments from the carbon soot released from vehicles, exhaust pipes and other sources. These pigments are also purified.
“At this point we’re experimenting further on how we can use this purified carbon. Maybe one day, we’ll even create sculptures,” said Sharma to CNN. “What we’re doing at this point is repurposing a pollutant that makes people sick, is destroying our environment, and exists all around us in our air.”
