“Anyone who thinks sitting in a church, mosque or temple can make you the best disciple of God, is wrong. The biggest religion is humanity,” believes a group in Ahmedabad that has been distributing free food for people to break their fasts during the month of Ramzan. And they have been doing so for the last eight years now.
Abbas Qureshi, Bismilaah, Farooq, Sharif Khan, and Ayub Khan work together on the preparation of food every evening. About 150 to 200 people break their fasts at their stall on a pavement.
