Critically acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui , who comes from a family of farmers has introduced the farmers of Budhana, Uttar Pradesh, his hometown to the water-efficient Centre Pivot Irrigation System.
The idea behind this system came when the Gangs of Wasseypur actor met some French farmers during his recent visit to Cannes.
The system delivers water through elevated pipes and rotating nozzles. In addition, each pipe can irrigate one acre of land.
