1. Two-year old orphan Vidya, was chosen twice for adoption and was left behind because she was deaf! She was ultimately adopted by a Mumbai couple, but what about Rs 5 lac needed for her medical treatment? A social worker, a foundation and social networking sites raised Rs 5.48 lac for Vidya!
