3 Guys Are on a 16-Day Long Train Journey Across India. And One of Them Is Live Tweeting It All.

Omkar Divekar, a resident of Mumbai, is currently on a journey of a lifetime with his friends Rajat Bhargava and Samarth Mahajan. The trio kick-started a 16-day long train journey across the length and breadth of India on March 9, and to share their experiences with the world, Omkar has been live-tweeting every instance of the adventure.

Their conversations with fellow passengers, the picturesque scenarios they come across, the food they eat, and more – Omkar is tweeting it all. “We’ll be trying to get into the General compartments whenever we can, converse and engage with people all over India,” he said in one of his tweets.

Here is a look at their amazing journey:

“I am very happy today. I am going for my daughters MBBS graduation ceremony to Jamnagar”

“I walked on these railways tracks for five days during the floods, to reach home in Baramullah”

“I am able to take my wife for her treatment, thanks to these railway tracks. Once can’t trust the roads”

“He used to come driving a truck from UP. We fell in love after meeting for the first time. After marrying him, I learnt how to speak in Hindi.”

“My name is Liton Singh. I am trying to search for the meaning of my name since childhood.”
