A circular has been issued to all government schools and district primary education officers (DPEOs) in the state asking them to comply with this initiative.
The other way in which the government is celebrating its girls is by honouring parents of daughters born in 2016 in the days leading up to Republic Day. Each school that takes part in this program will be given Rs. 300 by the state government.
