The morning walks, the relaxed evenings, the sight of waves crashing on the shore during monsoons, the get-togethers, the chit-chats, the calmness and the excitement – it’s everything at one place.
This iconic boulevard is celebrating its 100th anniversary today. Originally named the ‘Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road’, Marine Drive is a 4.3 km long road in southern Mumbai. It is a C-shaped road linking Nariman Point to Babulnath and Malabar Hill. On its 100th birthday, here are some pictures to show what Marine Drive means to Mumbai.
