Harish Gadagin, a mechanical engineering student from Hubbali, noticed the increasing number of accidents on Indian roads and decided to find a solution. Using his knowledge of automobiles, he chose to develop a system that can make our bus rides a lot safer. It is innovative, intelligent, and opens up many different options to reduce the risk of accidents on our streets.
The project named ‘Smart Devices for Smart Bus’ includes the following three features:
Smart Safety for Driver:
With this feature, seats of the driver and passengers are automatically pulled backwards in case of a collision. And how that happens is quite an interesting watch.
Automatic Dim and Dip:
Imagine you are happily driving at night, and a vehicle with high beam headlights comes approaching from the opposite side! With Harish’s innovation, bus drivers won’t have to worry about manually changing their headlight settings in such situations anymore.
Wireless Charging System:
This feature will utilise copper coils and the principle of electromagnetic induction to automatically charge bus batteries.
