Indian Railways has unveiled a new AC coach which is equipped with several features to increase both comfort and security of the passengers. This is the 50,000th coach rolled out by the Integrated Coach Factory (ICF).
The Integrated Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, had recently rolled out its 50,000 coach, which has now been unveiled by Indian Railways. It is an AC 3-tier coach, and is an absolute delight. The coach is equipped with many facilities and is a notch higher when compared to its predecessors, both in terms of security features and comfort.
Here are a few important features and facilities available in the coach:
1. For those who have a hard time climbing to the top berth, Indian Railways has come up with a solution in its latest coach.
It has wider stainless steel ladders to make it easy for people to climb. The ladder also has comfortable hand holds.
2. To make the coach disabled friendly, ICF has also installed Braille stickers for the ease of people with visual impairments.
3. There are two CCTV cameras installed at the entrance for improved security in the coach.
