1. HSR 10K Freedom Run – Bengaluru

Kaagaz Foundation is organizing the 3rd edition of ‘HSR 10K Freedom Run’ the objective being awareness and campaign for a Greener & Healthier Bengaluru.

This edition will take up various awareness campaigns and initiatives for a Greener and Healthier Bengaluru, proposed initiatives being:

– Tree Plantation drives
– Setting up Cycle Parking facility in HSR Layout
– Promote Cycling as a Health & Green initiative
– Organize SWM awareness programs

2. Tree Plantation – Bengaluru

Wanna Celebrate Independence day in some green way? Here is the chance for all of us to make this day a memorable one. Bangalore Hikers(BH) in collaboration with Sankalp Taru is planning to celebrate our Independence Day by planting 200 sapling at Adugodi Model Primary School, Koramangala, Bangalore. More details.

3. Peacock Festival – Chincholi Morachi (Ahmedabad-Pune Highway)

Chincholi Morachi is situated on Ahmednagar-Pune Highway near Shirur, Ranjangaon Ganpati on the distance of 23 km only in Maharashtra (India), which is beautiful weekend picnic spot near Pune. Today also in Morachi Chincholi, one can find lot of Peacocks everywhere in this small village. It is said that during times Peshwe dynasty lot of tamarind trees were planted over here which attracted Peacocks to this place. The villagers also claim that their ancestors kept on planting tamarind trees and cohabited with this bird over here. Now there are around 2500 Peacocks in this region. Enjoy your day among peacocks and lovely tales of the village. More details.

4. Infinity Ride 2015 – Hyderabad

NTR Trust warmly invites you to be a part of Infinity Ride – an inter-state 3-day cycle ride to create awareness about the Rights of People with disabilities and raise funds for Para-athletes.

The ride has already started on 12th August from Border Security Force (BSF) Head Quarters, Bengaluru and will end on on 15th August, Hyderabad. You can still be part of it-
Jadcherla – 14th August, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
NTR Trust Bhavan – 15th August, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
