Chinmay made some friends but a visit to a fort changed everything. The Marathi movie Killa revolves around the life of an 11-year old boy who is coping with his father’s death and adjusting with new friends. The movie which has not only received a National award but also bagged The Crystal Bear award at the Berlin Film Festival, is all set to hit the big screen soon.

Have you ever felt alone in spite of having many people around you? 11-year old Chinmay Kale recently lost his father and shifted to a new place along with his mother.

A new place, a new school and that missing place of his father – Chinmay’s world was never the same again.

Then he made some friends. But one day he visited a fort and everything changed.

It won the National Award for Best Marathi Feature Film in 2015 and is also winner of The Crystal Bear award at the Berlin Film Festival.

The movie is directed by Avinash Arun and will be released on June 26, 2015.
