In 2013, Yogeshwar had chosen to compete in the 65 kg category, climbing up from 60kg which had brought him a bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics.
The decision was made after World Wrestling Federation introduced variations in the weight categories at the end of year 2013. Since the change in his category, Yogeshwar has won golds in four tournaments he has participated so far.
He had also won a gold in both the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the Incheon Asian Games in 2014.
